I'm excited to be home after a winter full of touring and cd release hoopla. Hush has done very well, charting #42 in its debut month of February on international Folk Radio. I was psyched to see Steve Earl was #38 and Hush was in a group of three at #42 which included Willie Nelsons new record.
I look forward to updating the site this month and adding pictures from Sundance, Memphis and Nashville and filling you in on meeting with Patty Smith, and my future in film!

Chicago, Racine and Sheboygan!
Thanks to all who came out for my shows in Chicago, Racine and Sheboygan! I had a nice set in Chicago at Uncommon Ground. Big thanks to Peter and Rie for the place to crash...It had been awhile since I'd played at the Yardarm in Racine and it was nice to see Marissa (the most supportive bartender of live music I know) and get a chance to hang. I'm blessed with family in Sheboygan and I got an opportunity to spend an evening at the Elks club. I'm not sure if its anything like a moose lodge or not but it was a fun night. Thanks to all who came out to the Paradigm to support the new disc and my first show there. Kudos to Nathan for the great photos!
CD Release Shows
The Cd Release at the Duluth Playground was great. Lots of old friends and new friends. Bill Francois joined me on bass. We mostly played the songs from the cd which has been getting some nice reviews by the way. Minneapolis CD release is thursday feb 7th at the 318. 8pm.

Art & Music Series at North End Arts Gallery
Friday Nov 2nd. I will be sharing the "stage" with my friend Dan Edmunds. Dan is a Duluth Artist known for his pottery. We will be doing something a bit different in combining an Art Opening and a CD listening party. The night will start off with a reception at 7pm and music will begin at 8pm. I'll be playing songs from the new CD as well as giving you a chance to hear the new recording. Dan and I are both excited about this new format and hope you can come join us. The event is open and free to the public.
